When I pictured my future, I never imagined I would be pregnant and on my own, but this is my reality. I had my baby to think about, and being with a lying, cheating man-child suddenly didn’t hold as much appeal.
Turning back to the one thing that has always grounded me, I immersed myself in books; the local library, my playground. That’s where I met him.
